about

ILL-NOIS NATION Presents the 3rd mixtape from Sincere Life 'NIGHTMARES' Hosted by DJ Scattered Brains. After dropping 2 mixtapes one of them just 6 months ago, Mr. 7 is back with all new material and a new sound as well. He teams up with Scattered Brains, a Producer and DJ from Madison, WI, to host and mix this one and It also introduces King Del a fellow emcee from ILL-NOIS NATION who adds a great balance of youth and wisdom to the team and it shows in his lyrics. It starts with a nostalgic intro that I'm sure anyone over 25 can relate to and while quick it sets the tone of the mixtape perfectly. He starts off in classic mixtape form verbal assault on your favorite song, but then after he's got your ears open he comes with the original material. On the track 'All On Me' he shows his versatility, while maintaining his core of being a lyrically driven artist he made a song that can appeal to the party crowd and potentially radio as well. This track has that replay value that can have it being your favorite song. It is produced by Chemist and its definitely a club banger and seems like one of those tracks that was real fun to make. On songs like "I'm Blowed" Produced by DJ Burn One, one of the beats from his Ashtray mixtape, it's a song reflecting not so much on smoking but the stress and the reason for using weed or alcohol or whatever you use to relieve such stress. With a classic Midwest flow, which seems to be one of the things SL7 does best, he vents about everything from pressures that come with trying to make this dream come true to how hard it is knowing his father will never hear his songs, classic Sincere. King Del gives an excellent display of lyricism on "Larger Than Life" as he rhymes about being the very Truth that they used to say he was too young to understand definitely one you need to pay your attention to. Sincere Life's third mixtape has a lot of ill lyrics over industry beats but he also provides us with some original production from Bravestarr, Chemist, Dizzy Beats, Serious Beats, Lex Luger, DJ Burn One, Jay-B. He even went in on J Cole's Return Of Simba. Nightmares features verses from Nichi (LO LYFE), A Prophet & M City, and E Sweez. Definitely worth a download so make sure you don't sleep on this one.
